Attendance you can defend when someone questions it

An attendance percentage is only useful if it is defensible. That means the working-day rules are explicit, duplicate records cannot inflate the count, and the number on a report card matches the one in the register.

EduTask marks attendance daily or period-wise, applies your institution's own rules about what counts as a working day, and rolls the result into monthly summaries and percentages that examination eligibility can be based on.

Where RFID readers are installed, taps at entry points write into the same attendance record rather than a parallel one, and parents are notified over the channels the institution already uses.

Questions

Can attendance be marked per period rather than per day?

Yes. Both are supported, and the configuration decides which applies and how the daily figure is derived.

Are parents notified about absence?

Yes, over WhatsApp, SMS and email. There is no parent app to install and no parent login to manage.

Does it work with RFID cards?

Yes. Taps are logged against the student and feed the same attendance record as manual marking, so the two cannot disagree.

Can we see which classes have not submitted attendance?

Yes. A compliance report shows unsubmitted attendance and diary entries per class per day, so the gap is visible without chasing individual teachers.
