RFID attendance that lands in the same register

RFID attendance usually arrives as a second system: a reader with its own software, its own export, and a monthly argument about why its numbers differ from the register.

In EduTask a tap writes into the same attendance record that a teacher would mark by hand. There is one attendance figure per student per day, and the report card, the eligibility check and the parent alert all read it.

Readers and cards are hardware you buy and own; they are not included in the subscription. What EduTask provides is the record they write into and everything downstream of it.

Questions

Is RFID hardware included in the price?

No. Readers and cards are purchased separately as hardware. The EduTask subscription covers the software that records and uses the taps.

Do taps and manual marking conflict?

No, because they write to the same record rather than to parallel systems. There is one attendance figure per student per day.

Are parents alerted when a student does not arrive?

Yes, over WhatsApp, SMS or email, from the same platform that holds the attendance record.
